Welcome to my blog! My name is Nicole Perkins, and I’m an aspiring writer and an avid reader. I love to spend my time in stories, whether reading or writing them. I created this blog to share my love of writing and reading with other people. On this site you will find me rambling about writing or gushing over books and manga. I have more planned for this site eventually too, but I’m starting small!
I currently live with my husband and son on the edge of a seemingly enchanted wood in New York. We have two dogs, Pepper and Max, and a cat named Sushi (who ironically does not like sushi!). When I’m not writing or reading or thinking about either of those, I can be found entertaining my two year old son (best thing ever!), enjoying tv or movies, gaming with my husband and baking up a delicious dessert. I work full time as a proposal writer, and it is a joy to write professionally for a living. I am proud to that six of my poems have been published. I will never stop attempting to put my words out into the world, and I hope one day more people can enjoy them.
